Hey everyone! I am STARVING for a good ol' unhealthy binge! I totally get the "eating like a normal person" thing- I am dying to make peanut butter cookies but I know I can't just do that without thinking first. SO, to circumvent any guilt or anything, I am planning a few upcoming binges. And by binge, I mean eating a lot of an unhealthy food but keeping calories in check. If that means 1500 calories in chocolate, then so be it!
Planned Binge 1: STOVE TOP STUFFING!
Reason: Because it's f*cking delicious, that's why! A whole package is like 600 calories so helllloooo Wednesday dinner! Ahahah
Planned Binge 2: BETTY CROCKER RAINBOW CHIP CAKE AND RAINBOW CHIP ICING!
Reason: It's my birthday next week and this cake has been my fave since I could eat cake. It's since been discontinued in Canada and ugh- people think adding sprinkles is the same...IT IS NOT THE SAME! The icing just...it enables the cake to transcend the luscious boundary between culinary art and orgasmic heaven. It's like angels are prancing upon your tastebuds with slippers made of spun sugar. It's seriously the BEST dessert I have ever had and my wedding cake will likely have a layer of this cake. SO, that being said, you can imagine my dismay when it started to get harder and harder to find in high school. Once, my step dad went to 5 gas stations before he found one! (OMG how classy am I that my #1 fave food of all time is sold at gas stations? ahahahha) Unfortunately, there were a few dry years...with no icing. It was awful. AND THEN HUGO FOUND A SELLER ON AMAZON IN TEXAS AND THEY SHIP IT TO US ONCE A YEAR IN THE FREAKING ARCTIC! I love Hugo with all my heart- for many things, but especially for his understanding that this is not just an icing...it is a way of life. I even asked for a second tub for me to eat on my own!
So, Americans- next time you are in the grocery store and you see the rainbow chip icing, bow your head and thank Obama, for your country is truly one of greatness.
As far as calories go...not sure if I want to count on my birthday...not sure! But I could EASILY consume 3500 on a birthday day and I'll be DAMNED if I am gonna gain a pound! Decisions, decisions!
Do any of you plan for your faves either in moderation or in excess a few times a year?
